The brilliant composer’s Winter concerto from The Four Seasons inspired me to create this other series, the Vivaldi Winter series. This season is not only cold and silence – it is also a season of strength, beauty, and dramatic moments. Just like in the Spring series, I tell the story through modern dance movements, a story that Vivaldi expressed not only in his composed music but also in the poem he wrote alongside it. My work evokes the most intense moments: the freezing power of winter.
My goal is to capture the dramatic beauty of winter using the tools of modern dynamism and elegance, reminding us of the season’s strength and magic.
