There is a moment at the end of the day that I always especially love. Not the sharp clarity of midday light, and not the deep darkness of the evening. But that brief transition when the sun is already low, and the light turns at once into gold, honey, and soft orange. When every object seems a little warmer, the walls softer, and the textiles as if they begin to come alive.
This is the moment when colors are not only seen — but felt.
When I first began to pay attention to this light, I realized something. Luxury is often not born in objects. Much more in the atmosphere. In the way the light falls onto a terracotta ceramic, the way a warm-toned textile reacts to the last rays of the sun, or the way a space suddenly feels more intimate, deeper, more alive. This is the luxury ambiance that truly comes to life in the light.

This is the feeling I call Sunset Opulence.
It is a mood that goes beyond trends. And the most beautiful thing about it is that it is not the name of a price category, but of a feeling.
A different kind of luxury
In recent years, we have talked a lot about quiet luxury. That understated understated elegance which I sometimes jokingly call “don’t look at me luxury.” A kind of luxury that remains silent, yet is refined in every detail.
Sunset Opulence carries a completely different energy. It remains quiet, yet it is full of life. It is like a golden hour sky: warm, deep, and slightly spiced. In these moments, a space fills with presence, and the colors begin to gently come alive together, creating unique interior atmosphere.
In this world, luxury appears in layers, in light, and in harmony — in the form of a luxury ambiance that is not loud, yet deeply impactful.
The colors that bring a space to life
Sunset Opulence is not about a single color. Rather, it is about a warm, rich palette that together creates an atmosphere in which a space or an outfit becomes both elegant and alive.
It is built from tones like these:
• Terracotta – earthy, stable, a warm foundation
• Burnt orange – like the last ray of sun on the skin
• Deep coral – soft, yet full of character
• Honey gold – a light that glows rather than shines
• Plum or aubergine shades – the depth of the evening sky

These sunset colors are not loud, they glow instead. They always remind me of spices. Saffron, cinnamon, cardamom. Warm, aromatic tones that add depth to a space.
That is why this palette feels more spiced than sweet — and this is what makes this luxury ambiance truly special.
Why does this work so well right now?
More and more of us are looking for spaces and clothes that simply feel good to be in. The home creates atmosphere, while clothing comes to life in movement.
The feeling of luxury is slowly shifting from appearance toward experience. Toward a kind of interior design inspiration that is not only beautiful, but also something you can feel.
Sunset Opulence captures this transition. The light becomes more embracing, the colors grow deeper, and the space somehow feels fuller — creating a unique luxury ambiance that almost draws you in.
When a space begins to pulse
In interiors, this mood works especially beautifully. Often, a calm, light base serves as the starting point: cream, beige, or sand tones. A kind of background that allows the play of warm tones to come through.
Onto this quiet canvas arrive the colors of the sunset:
A terracotta ceramic on the table.
A deep coral cushion on the sofa.
A honey-colored glass lamp that casts a warm light in the evening.

Lighting is particularly important here. Side lighting and the soft glow of table lamps create a much more intimate atmosphere. The space slowly fills with warmth and, almost imperceptibly, begins to come alive.
This is where the style truly becomes free. A single well-chosen textile, a warm-toned lamp, or a terracotta vase can already set this atmosphere in motion — and create that subtle yet deep luxury ambiance.
The feeling of luxury, in moments like these, is born from well-chosen details.
The new face of luxury
Quiet luxury has taught us that luxury can be subtle.
Sunset Opulence reminds us that luxury can also be warm, sensual, and alive.
And perhaps most importantly, this kind of luxury does not belong to a privileged few. It is a mood. A kind of luxury ambiance that anyone can create in their own space, in their own life, through colors, light, and texture.
This is probably why I love the golden hour so much — because in these moments I am always reminded that luxury is sometimes born from the simplest things: a well-chosen color, a warm light, and that feeling when, for a moment, everything around us comes to life.

This is the mood that feels especially close to me in my own creations.
While my works that evoke the feeling of Quiet Luxury truly represent minimalism — both in their colors and in the shapes that appear in the paintings — this sunset-inspired opulence embodies the duality of rhythm and calm.
If you have not yet reflected on how two such opposing feelings can coexist, then understanding the concept of harmony will surely give you the answer.
I am, myself, a great admirer of sunsets. Whenever I am present in that moment, I always take a photograph, and each time the same indescribable feeling takes hold of me. It feels as if I step into another dimension, and in those moments I always realize that I am surrounded by perfect harmony.
The harmony of colors and energies.
And yet, I have never felt the urge to paint a classic sunset. Still, these colors — honey gold, burnt orange, deep coral, and shades of plum — appear beautifully in one of my favorite paintings, titled Burning Shadow.

My God… even the mere names of these colors create such an atmosphere for me, as if I have stepped into a fairytale-like, extraordinary world. And perhaps that is exactly what the feeling of luxury is.
Anyone can experience this, if they allow themselves to be carried by their own imagination and by the vibration of the energies created by colors.
Because in the end, this is all it is.
Luxury comes from within.
The small rituals of everyday life
Sunset Opulence does not exist only in spaces or clothing. It is often born in the simplest moments.
A late afternoon tea in warm light.
The gentle warmth of the cup in your hands.
A candle whose flame slowly dances on the surface of the glass.
Music that almost imperceptibly slows the space around us.
It takes nothing more than a little attention.
When we are consciously present in this golden transition, everyday moments begin to gain depth. Light, silence, and the smallest details suddenly come together, giving rise to that subtle luxury ambiance that surrounds us.
In this moment, it becomes truly tangible that luxury is not something distant or unattainable.
But a mood we allow ourselves to experience.
